  • You would think that if they spent all that kind of money to create the graphics,,,they would have taken ten minutes ti talk with someone that actually knows how they work. The couple of items that are wrong could have easily been fixed with a short conversation. Makes you wonder how many other "machines" they got it wrong.

  • Oh cool, so that's how it all works, Awesome! I always wondered on what happens back there, thanks for the video!

  • So wrong!!!

  • Wtf almost all of this info is wrong!

  • So, where can I get a deck with sensors in it?

  • I'm a mechanic at AMF Rose Bowl in Louisville, KY!

  • i've made a video about this. but, y'know in youtube poop.check out the video response!

  • but even though they got the facts wrong, it's still entertaining to watch.

  • 3:06 WTF? I thought they were only made of wood?! I only knew the GS series had sensor plates ON TOP of the pin gripper.

  • sensors on the pindeck ? LOL.

  • And i'll be the second to Dislike. AMF machines are a lot better and easier to repair. Brunswick sucks.

  • ill be the first to dislike.. they got just about every bit of information wrong.

  • this is just so , all wrong, who in hell put this together? geez

  • A belt dosent send pins to the turnaround pan, a PINWHEEL does!

  • Did i win?

  • This is why you shouldnt rely on some deep- voiced douche to give you information. So much of this shit is wrong as most of you have mentioned. The first thiing that got me was that he said the ball is gonna hit the pin at over 20 mph. Who throws a ball at over 20 mph unless youre a big dude throwing a straight ball..hard. sweeper?!...its a rake. carosel/distributor...its a fuckin turret. The pin deck sensor sending info to the distributor wheel?! LOL WTF

  • the picture was inverted at the beginning of the clip, as you can see the "B" is backwards

  • "Sensors on the pin deck send signals to the distributor wheel...". WOW, I've been working on these as a mechanic for 40 years and never knew about the sensors. I agree with you Discodad54, I think I'm going to throw-up!

  • Carosel????????? 4000 moving parts ??? Distributor wheel??? Who in the hell did the reserch before putting this on the air? They should be shot. What Pin sensors? Im going to be sick!!!!!!!

  • They screwed up at the last part. There are no sensors in the deck. It just sweeps and sets automatically after the 2nd ball. On 1st ball it sends the table down to feel for pins. Each hole has a switch in it. If one of these switches is tripped, the machine goes to 2nd ball mode (picking up standing pins and sweeping deadwood). On a strike, no switches get tripped so the machine sweeps and sets a full rack.

  • the switches are for the "pinfinder" lights either on the masking unit or on the ball return hood, although most newer remodeled centers nolonger use pinfinder lights because automatic scoring now displays the pins left standing. also many pinsetters don't have the deck switches at all. What determines whether the machine sets 10 new pins or respots pins for 2nd ball is the height of the deck when the machine lowers at the beginning of the first ball.

  • Should of spent more time/money on getting the facts correct, instead of the graphics.....

  • @dzagroski This is true. kinda wish they would have spent a little time on the detector and the moving deck. thats were the cool stuff happens.

  • wow this is complicated

  • They had me up until the pin deck sensor. The grafic looked cool thow.

  • GSX FTW!!! at least they are faster than the A2, pins feeding faster, my 10th frame, i threw the ball when the sweep wagon was just raising!

  • shoot, the 1 7 and 10 stayed in the air!

  • Funny how they left out the gearbox and detector. Oh well, guess they couldn't cram everything into a 3 minute clip. I liked it though. Anyone notice on the computer model that the 1 pin bucket stayed in the air when the deck lowered?

  • sensors on the pindeck?

  • @pinboyamf My thoughts exactly how about detection heights, because ive sure never seen any pin decks with sensors.

  • You´re absolutely right, these 4 facts were wrong ;-)

  • 1. It is the Pin wheel driven by a belt that sends the pins to the Trun(around) Pan.

    2. What they call the distributor is called the Turret.

    3. The ball is accelerated by a motor powered belt then drops to the subway.

    4. There are NO sensors on the pin deck. The circles on the pin deck are for manual placement of the pin and alinement of the pinsetter. The Turret (distributor) Only drops the pins when the moving deck is all the way up and forward and the moving deck is empty.

  • @KahlessOsaber I was there for the filming of this. My boss and I gave them correct names, books and operations of the machine and they still got a few things wrong... HA HA HA... oh well, hopefully they'll get the information right about the A-22 oiler...lol

  • Not sure about some of the facts in the voice over, but the video quality is very good.

  • Cool!
