I believe the reason for hit markers is blast shield because I look at kill cams see that they are using blast shield

But sometimes I get hit markers above the waist, which annoys the shit outta me, and being a sniper rifle, anything at or above the waist should kill in one shot. But it would be stupid if you can snipe someone in the calf and oneshot kill them.
