I don't know what kind of a control device you are using to drive, but when coming out of a corner, you should only open the throttle once you know you don't have to take it off again. You keep pumping on and off, on and off, that upsettles the car and loses a lot of time.

ok its not the best graphics i admit f1 2010 is better

but it is so realistic when you had that water leak your car stopped and you retired from the race on f1 2010 there is no technical retirement whatsoever!

I wish codemasters could incorporate that into f1 2011

There was. You can set the 7th gear in the setup panel of the game.

@Danfilm007 Yes it's was smooth for me. I keep an up-to-date graphics card and cpu in my computer, so a game like GP4 runs butter smooth.

As lower-right icon shows you probably put your car too low to the ground. Frictions in oval and long straights could lead to failure.

Já neřekl že je ta hra na hovno. Jenom mi vadí ta pomoc počítače kterej ti prostě zatáčí a nedá se to vypnout. Já to hrál, vypnul jsem tu pomoc a stejně to zatáčelo samo :D Jestli víš jak to vypnout tak napiš, hru nainstaluju a zkusim to.

Auto gears and TC only and I use the keyboard (hence the on/off acceleration in corners)

nice one mate! I have my game working now and im so happy! i have a wheel too, but even on ace its too easy :( in a minardi a cam from last to 16th in 5 laps and i was going at lead car pace lol. I need a difficulty tweaker. Cheers for your help!

With TC off this game is incredible! I think you'd need a wheel and pedals to be able to control it though.

I'm using XP with a Core 2 Due and an 8800GTS. I have a few issues with the game occasionally crashing, but nothing really annoying.

coo, thanks mate. I could never make this game work, but then suddenly it as fine. Then it stopped working again! But i think i know why. Do you have a printer? aparently printers make the game crash.

No printer directly connected. I never had crashes on my old PC, but the graphics card was old (radeon 9550). I guess the game doesn't like the latest drivers/newer graphics cards.

yeah, that seems to be the case :( and as my pc is 2006 spec i dont think that helps.
