@mynthon11 You are right, that's not a Panzerabwehrkanone. Its a Schwerefeldhaubitze 18 or SFH 18. It fired a 152mm shell that was assisted by rocket propulsion to increase the range.

this is the Goliath it was a small tank packed with explosives, and was made for taking out other tanks but is had some things that made it not as effective as it should have been it was very lightly armored had some poor range, it also was pretty big so u would have to be pretty near sighted to see it coming and it wasn't all that fast, but it was a good and crazy idea at the time it was used. good vid 5/5 :)

The Goliath was in fact a mini tank, remote-controlled by wire for single use (remote detonation).

Similar but larger re-usable vehicles existed as well - they dumped an explosive charge.

Interesting technology, but apparently it wasn't very important.

The explosion in the video is most likely fake - the have cut the video and then showed a detonation. It's very unlikely that they expended a Goliath for this.

Yes they've cut it, but its not fake, its obvious that its a german propagandamovie. They showed movies like that to the german population during the war, so everybody kept believing that the war was ment to be.
