The major debate involves manned versus unmanned missions, not recreational trips--those are way down on the list of priorities. It may be fun to dream about, but the reality is that any future space travel will require funding--which is hard to come by these days.
i think funding for high tech space probes and robots might be a better investment for nasa recreational space travel will be left for space x and virgin galactic
