Karma Dog Traning: I find it amazing that you would say "Christian" approach to dog training is behavior consequence chain and it has to be behavior followed by pain. Working as a clicker trainer myself, I can assure you that behavior consequence chain does NOT have to mean "pain if you don't do what I want". As a clicker trainer i use R+ and a little P- (removing something pleasant), NOT PAIN, to train. I am neither Christian nor Bouddhist, but I think you are mixing things up here.
This man knows nothing about Christianity or dog training for that matter to make a statement like that. If Christianity did apply to the dog world, people would be held accountable for mistreating or physically correcting any dog. That's justice! I'll pray for him.
We love Jeff! This video shows him in a most alternative light, but basically he just understands and loves dogs! He helped us with our dog issues (incessant barking), and showed us how to train our rescue puppies to be so well-behaved, we get compliments all the time. He trained with Cesar Milan (so he says), but I think he is much better. He will really help you to understand a dog's point of view so that you can understand and correct dog behaviour problems in a positive, loving way
Good dog trainer, but on the contrary, what the hell does training a dog have to do with Christianity and Buddhism? Its totally irrelevant. There are plenty of Christians who love their dogs and give their dogs positive reinforcement. There are many other places to make religious statements. Dogs could care less what religion you are, they will love you regardless.
Yeah, I don't get that either. Positive training is the same way. Dog don't sit, dog don't get a treat. Start over. Sit. Treat. Seems like he's trying to make something simple into something unique. It's cool he is a Christian but c'mon, he's just doing positive training.

Your training approach has NOTHING to do with Christianity, or any religion. I think it is very ignorant of you to say that.
