Terrablades might be the only off-road skates on YouTube that take advantage of three or more inline wheels, most "innovators" aren't that smart. Two wheels dip into every pit and pothole. But... A big front wheel with closely spaced small trailing wheels gets you over obstacles while maintaining a lower stance like on my picture page (flickr.com/photos/27532210@N04/). The smaller the trailing wheels, the closer to a snow ski your skates will resemble (except you need some ground clearance).
Hi check out ELEKTROSKATE BOARDS they have the most powerfull and lightest boards on the market with high torque digital brushless motors and WIRELESS 2.4 ghz remote controls. Full 1 years warranty designed in the USA. they also offer a discount for non Euro customers. I have tried them all ES are the best by miles
@paradplanet your joking me right? we do 30mph+ with kite, down nasty terrain, and with powered rollercycle. and those things are for fun / toys. I make these skates to perform like a grass ski. I make them with a CNC mill out of billet aluminum air filled tires, bomber bindings, everything within .001" tolerance. They are not for everyone, but there is nothing out there at all that can handle what the Terrablades can.
1. At 00:37 are those skate wheels or inflatable tires? I've always been wondering if they've ever made skates with small inflatable tires.(you have to inflate them like a car tire right?)
2. What's the highest speed you can reach with them?
3. I like them, although this seems more like roller skiing rather than all terrain skating.
Like roller skates are = with ice skates. These in the video are = with snow skis. :-)
hahahaha, hell yea... difinaitly a mad max prop :P I WANT SOME!... i see myself hitching on the back of cars on the way to college in the morning.... *snowcrash anyone?*
Ok so you made these with no brakes so they are more like an inline skate, but no brakes at all with these behemoth seems kind of nuts. How do you stop?
Also wondering about the 2 middle wheels, are they really needed? interesting idea, like the Skike which is how I found this video :)
thanks, the foot is not being lifted in order to simulate carving, the center wheels are lower than the end wheels gives rockering. There is a danger being higher up, but we lower our center of gravity by lots of flex, other applications like kite skating put you in a lowe position as well. The weight so far has not been an issue for off road since it give stability. Like any specialized design advantages and dissadvantages. These skate are built to roll over pretty much all surfaces.

How can you slow down, on regular inlines you just cut quick turns and/or use your drag brake..... and how do these compare to the Coyote blades?

Bro you are going to end up hit by a car or a motorcycle if you don't learn to keep those things on the right side of the street.

this is a good new offroad rollerblade.
but they looks very heavy.
I hope the price can be cheaper. I made a video with the coyote rollerblade, you can have a look.

yeah they look dangerous if you lift the skates off the ground.
Because of the length, there must be a large risk of twisting your foot everytime you lift a foot off the ground.
Note in this video how he very rarely lifts a foot, it's mainly downhill rolling with no real "skating".
But i suppose in these downhill circumstances terrablades are very good.
