  • Don't just dream of a full marathon, you can do it! I'm always impressed by the amazing people I meet when doing a marathon. I'm not sure what effect my hysto is going to have on my running (when I finally get it) but there's something about the distance races that is really special. Kudos to you on your half. Don't forget, marathons are addictive.

  • you have a really gentle male face which oddly makes you more masculine, its a lovely thing

  • You averaged 8.5 minutes per mile. Seems like a good time to me. Way to go!

  • hey Miko, how old are you?

  • I was at that workshop at the conference and I was SHOCKED by how many people are interested in exploring hormone therapy and stopping it. It's a great topic.

  • hey, my brother had a lot of knee problems because of gymnastics but when he hiked the appellation trail, 2 months in he build enough muscle around them that he hasn't had any problems in about 5 months

  • *crosses fingers* please be straight, please be straight, pleasebestraight!

  • 8) you are hot!! damn, i would have NEVER guessed you were born female! holy shit, its crazy amazing.

  • sweet i love to go am gay who wants to date trans guy:) be cool to go

  • I used to have knee problems too, saw a podiatrist who analyzed me, told me to buy orthopedic inserts, $200 shoes, etc. I knew there had to be a better solution than simply buying expensive crutches, so to speak. Did some research and saw a "motion specialist" who, with literally a few exercises, completely eliminated my knee pain. Look up "pose method" and "motion specialist." It might help.

  • @ares74 Thanks, I'll def check into that!

  • hey i'm late but congrats on getting your legs to run that long i hate running lol. And good luck on the marathon I'm saying that cuz i know youll do if you really want to. :) your chest is awesome :))

  • Hey mate, congrats on the marathon good work! Your chest looks great too!

  • You're hot! :0)

  • Hey! Yeah I saw you in Philly, but didn't get a chance to say hi and introduce myself in person. Too bad, you seem like a cool person! Congratz on the marathon!

  • Congratulations for doing the marathon! You look great, and your chest is amazing, I had Osteo Bi-Flex treatment for joint pain and it helped me a lot. Try it. Now a stop for a while, and after a month I will start again to prevent and keep the good results.

I wish you the best, love you.

  • It was cool meeting you in person. I was the guy from Scranton (Max). For some reason, I could have sworn you were from California so I was surprised to see you there. But yeah, it was my first time attending it and the large crowd overwhelmed me as well. Definitely going to try and go every year because it's such an amazing experience.

  • Check out the book "Born to Run" by Christopher McDougall. Great information and inspiration for alternative ways to help your body not hurt from running.

  • Congratulations on completing the half-marathon, Meiko! Your chest (and beard, by the way) look fantastic. I'm having knee problems, too. My trainer has me using that foam roller. But I'm also going to try strengthening my quads -- that worked before when I was having pain from running.

  • @postgender Thanks Carson, I'm hesitant to strengthen my quads anymore, mine are actually quite big for my frame and I heard that knee pain often comes from overloading that muscle. *shrugs* I 'm hoping the foam roller will work out for me.

  • @MeikoEliasXavier Oh, okay. I have a "jumper's knee" injury and part of the rehab for that is quad work. I guess the injury/strain dictates the area of rehab....fussy joints!

  • @postgender Indeed!

  • really great with shaved head

  • congrats on the race! I'm doing a marathon in November and I'm really excited! Also registered for the AIDS LIFECYCLE race next year I'm super stoked. Charity sports are so much fun!!

  • @MrAshtonRenae That's killer!!! I'd LOVE to do a marathon! Go you!!!

  • Your chest looks amazing and you are super handsome.
