  • OMG TOTALLY JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT GIRL TALK AND ITS NASTY SHIT!!! MUCH LOVE FOR THIS ONE MAN AWESOMENESSSSSSS!!!!

  • If you can't tell a DJ from a band, you should just stay home.

  • MBMBAM

  • #MBMBAM!!

  • 3:05 Kiss your dad square on the lips.

  • @Lyrax BRAMBLEPATCH

    SHADOWTAIL

    ...

  • this isnt a band its one guy who puts on one bomb ass party everytime he plays

  • This band is playing VooDoo fest so i came to check em out lol idk what to say but is this there music ?

  • play yo pawt

  • He is an insiration for all the dj's who love to sample and remix. Grts from Belgium

  • The bit from 0:12 to 0:37 should be made into its own song... So perfect.

  • wow! this is to good! to be throoth!

  • The depth of this song....all of these musicians, from shredders to rappers...from the Beatles to Lil Wayne, with all of the people...they all came and many of them are gone, but for this one moment in time, everyone, from Cliff Burton to Hillel Slovak to John Lennon to Notorious BIG, was there to sing their song, rap their flow, beat their drum, AND PLAY THEIR PART.

  • @ilovenarwhales

    where was hillel slovak?

  • @ruma17 Anthony Keidis and John Frusciante were best friends with Hillel Slovak. The song "Under the Bridge" was heavily influenced by him.

  • @ilovenarwhales

Ha still, he's not in the song

  • @ruma17 I could argue this one, but I can already tell you know too little about the Red Hot Chili Peppers for me to debate.

  • @ilovenarwhales

lol you have no idea what you're talking about man, I guarantee I know more about them than you. There's nothing to argue anyways. The guitar part in Under the Bridge was written in 1991 by John Frusciante. Hillel had been dead three years by then. Hillel was a an influence on John, but he did not write nor play Under the bridge, and it doesn't even sound like something he would write. It's not his style at all. Hillel Slovak was not a part of this mash-up.

  • @ruma17 That is like saying weed had nothing to do with this mashup! It influenced Hendrix, which made him write Purple Haze, which is in this mashup (No Pause). And yes, I know the exact details of the song. I've read the autobiography of Anthony Keides, and without Hillel, there would have not even been a RHCP, much less, "Under the Bridge."

  • @ilovenarwhales

    assed?

  • @lurycio smd

  • I would support Girl Talk by downloading the album if the link worked.

  • @bazonis78 your an idiot

  • @bazonis78 lol maybe i misjudged you

  • Girltalk = WINNING!

  • how do you mix journey and rap music and it still sound good?

  • I really don't understand why people like this. Sounds like that A.D.D. tweaker you went to elementary school with on the turn tables.

  • @acidrain734 You describe exactly why I like Girl Talk so eloquently.

  • I Wonder what Shazam thinks of this.

  • @MrJay1029 shazam must be mind fucked by this

  • @MrJay1029 They wizard? Probably not a whole lot, he has more to deal with.

  • @MrJay1029 well, at least soundhound got it right... I mean , it gave the "Girl Talk" song ;)

  • GIRL TALK IS WAT I WOLD LIKE TO HEAR THE WHOLE NIGHT IN A NIHGT CLUB GREAT STUFFFFFFFFFFFFF

  • this song sucks

  • Now see....this is what sampling is SUPPOSED to be! Someone go back in time and tell that to Vanilla Ice.

  • I love Girl Talk I have this album, where can I get hold of more recent material in the uk??? thanks :)

  • @1niceafro itunes?

  • @1niceafro Illegal-art(dot)net is the official download site of the most recent album, All Day.

  • @BAXTSPRCHRGD

    Thanks

  • I think the key here is taste.

  • just discovered this band, group, project, thing (thanks drunk tank) and have to say, i'm impressed by it, i usually don't listen to rap and hip hop but this group takes second in that area for me (right behind Gorillaz). props to someone who can mash lil wayne and ac/dc

  • anybody remember when girl talk was actually glitch music and not just remixes/mashups?

  • @fllnktt Yeahm and it was terrible.

  • @SirSwass I beg to differ.....It was something different and more stimulating to listen to....certainly that kind of music cant be listened to for hours but it was fuckin awesome....this stuff is alright....its just remixes and mashups....it's all been done before

  • @fllnktt Yeah, and it was terrible.

  • Nice intro with Under the Bridge in the background.

  • really want to download album: where do I find it? Link listed 'not found'

  • @xMrsBillxKaulitzx Amazon has it for $7.99

  • @someslob pirate bay has it for $0.00

  • @Max07289 If you're going to take it for free, at least get it from Illegal Art.

  • @Max07289 illegal art has it for free too... only without the viruses.

  • @TheeMarkBurkhart

    nope, its doesnt...minimum is $5

  • @Max07289 Why the hell does this comment have so many thumb-ups? You can get it for $0.00 at the official website. Does anyone even care to check?! It just goes to show that there are a lot of ignorant people out there.

  • @Nikcesco chill... theres also a lot of imbeciles out there (like this guy called nikcesco)

  • @Max07289 I'm an imbecile? Please explain. Because from what I see, you were so anxious to be "lol, piracy is so awesome guys", that you didn't know you could get a legitimate copy for free.

  • @Nikcesco imgur(dot)com/e5oUn

  • i got really excited when thunderstruck started because i dislike rap and hip hop but this is actually pretty cool

  • I really don't care what anyone says, when it comes down to it this stuff is not original at all. Fuck mashups man.

  • @DeadlyPastryMan this is your opinion so l'm not saying you're wrong.... but the whole point of a mash up isn't to be original... if all these pieces were original, we wouldn't be able to sit there and think 'holy crap, l can't believe he managed to mix those three really well known songs together to create a completely new sound that both recognises the originality of the individual tracks, while also mastering something completely unique'.... do you get me?

  • @DeadlyPastryMan Think what you want, but I think mashups are an art in themselves and take a lot of work and creativity to do well. Mashup artists package and present other artists' music in a way that is fresh and unique for the listener. Mashups exist in other mediums too --- would you consider a stylized edit of someone else's video clip completely unoriginal if it brought something new to the table? Are photoshops and lolcats unoriginal content?

  • @SariatheCat But the original artist probably intended to have their work presented to the public in a certain way, which is different from how it's presented here.

  • @ProjectBurncan That's true, but mashups are fair-use, and by releasing their work to the public, artists know that their work will be subject to fair-use.

  • @captain150 What you're saying just means that it's legally allowed, which, as long as no money is made off of this, it is. I'm looking at it from an artistic perspective though. For example, if I release a song, it's because I want people to hear that song as I've created it. My intention in that hypothetical isn't for part of it to be combined with a bunch of other songs to create something drastically different.

  • @ProjectBurncan Fair enough. I'm an engineer, not an artist, but do artists not want their work to inspire other artists? I mean consider the influence of famous artists or musicians; their work will always inspire a new generation. Most of them won't create mashups, but they will create new music that is heavily inspired by the earlier work. I just think an artist should be proud that their work was an inspiration for someone.

  • @captain150 Admittedly, it's a bit of a gray area.

  • @captain150 I completely agree with you.

Every artist Girl Talk mashes up should be flattered that they were an inspiration.

  • This is FTW!

  • Girl Talk is like the most amazing artist ever!!!! Glad i seen his documentary thanks 2 my dad video 38 is one of the best things i have ever heard in my life wish i was that smart...HES A FREAKIN GENIUS!!!!!

  • @liquidchild420 wow... you have the same creativity in your comments that girl talk in their songs: slim or none...

  • @efil666 As Michael stated, you're just a stuck up troll faggot who only listens to the 70's

  • @DrCoxlove come on! I like some actual music, but this is lame and irrelevant... Girl Talk is 90's music sucker!

  • @StrongHeartLives he was amazing

  • @ajn132 I agree - I was there sat. Great show! Flaming Lips on Sun. were amazing too!

  • this song is classy.

  • @henniferlopay Technically, you don't have to pay him. On his site you have the option to not pay anything for the track, you just have to pick a reason as to why you're not paying first.

  • @henniferlopay then why are you listening to this song?

  • @henniferlopay u just want ppl to argue with you. im a big chili fan and thats why i think the beginning of this song is so sick

  • 1:57 and on is my favorite mash up ever, right to the end.

  • @canadianreefersmoke

agreed. I have a video of me and some buddies getting down SO HARD at a new years party to the "pop lock & drop it" bit. haha

  • 1:56 is the best

  • lil wayne sucks. sounds like a crying baby

  • although i agree with loganno...i think ur both douche bags for arguing over youtube haha

  • Im amazed at how well Lil Wayne and RHCP goes together.

  • its red hot chilli peppers, under the bridge

  • what's the background music at 16 seconds?

  • Girl talk is full of win and things

  • the reason i like girl talk is because he isnt bias to any form of music. he isnt all stuck up and "anti-hip hop" and he isnt ignorant and plays rock. amazing

  • i wouldnt go as far as calling lil wayne hip hop...

  • lil wayne is rap my friend... KRS-One, Brand Nubian, Souls of Mischief, a tribe called quest... thats hip hop. Learn your history. Selling albums doesn't make you a spokesperson for a genre ... there is a whole history you need to understand before you go dropping things like " the best rapper alive". Do your homework kids.

  • @MichaelMusic1 Isn't *biased*. Bias is a noun, ffs.

  • @bobbytimberlake This isn't English class asshole. It's a casual YouTube comment. You knew what he meant. Don't be such a dick.
