The GameCube version was very awsome and fun. I played it for hours with my friend. Also he then bought Maro Charged for wii but the problem was always this to long cutscenes when you make the charged shot, i hate that.. Is there a way i can disable the charge special shot the captains are making?

I'd have to agree, I don't really care for soccer as a sport (as a side note here, it's pretty annoying how the rest of the world gets hung up on the idea that some people think that soccer isn't the greatest thing in existence), but the Super Mario Strikers games are fun. That being said, Super Mario Strikers was the better game between them, even though it was less over-the-top. It had a certain sense of balance that its sequel seems sorely lacking in.
