I respectfully disagree. If we held that attitude for every work of art, be it music or anything else, other generations would never be exposed to it. Maybe no one can do it as good as John could, but to say no one should do it anymore because of his untimely passing would doubtless be something Mr. Lennon would disagree with, were he alive.
