takuya-like-red as the leader. he and the koji-like acts as the counter-balance of each other as a reference to gatchaman's ken and joe, regardless of the koji-like's color(blue, yellow, black or green). he is also a brother-figure to the tommy-like .

I can see Takuya, J.P., Tommy and Zoe as those colors. But I think Koji would be Silver instead and Kouichi as Black but with two designs because of his story arc.
