McCain was in the Navy, he could care less about soldiers who carry a Rifle. An Air Force Vet told me that he does not understand why our soldiers need breaks from their tours. Air Force and Navy personal, particularly the enlisted, have a distorted view of combat and "fighting" for freedom. They should not be mentioned in same vane as our ground forces. Iraq was never a threat to US Freedoms ( or any threat period) and we have no right to remain. Most Iraqis want us out!

3) Polls measure their samples based on past voter turnout and demographics most likely to vote. Obama proved in the primaries that he brings ALOT of people to the polls who have never participated before, thus skewing many of polls. Obama is up 8 points, according to Pew.

McCain was in the Navy, he could care less about soldiers who carry a Rifle. An Air Force Vet told me that he does not understand why our soldiers need breaks from their tours. Air Force and Navy personal, particularly the enlisted, have a distorted view of combat and "fighting" for freedom. They should not be mentioned in same vane as our ground forces. Iraq was never a threat to US Freedoms ( or any threat period) and we have no right to remain. Most Iraqis want us out!

In fact Bush was working for political campaigns and his records at the Air Guard got "lost". The National Guard was a haven for draft dodgers or if you prefer, draft avoiders. The Air Guard was an exception to that and many did fly missions in Vietnam. Bush pulled strings to get assigned to squad that flew jets not used in Vietnam. He is poser. 1) In modern presidential politics it's very rare for any candidate to win by 10+ points.
2) It's very early - most people haven't given much thought.
3) Polls measure their samples based on past voter turnout and demographics most likely to vote. Obama proved in the primaries that he brings ALOT of people to the polls who have never participated before, thus skewing many of polls. Obama is up 8 points, according to Pew.

If you take out the last two sentences of your comment, you describe McCain perfectly. Conservatives are a lot more frightened about McCain's dismal prospects.
By the way, only one senator didn't show up to work today to vote on key medicare and security legislation. It wasn't Ted Kennedy, who's still recovering from Brain surgery. He made it just fine. It was maverick McCain, who hasn't cast a vote in the senate for months.

...I must also state that although it would be nice for america to have our troops back they are also helping rebuild the country (dont reply saying fuck them and shit...)and there is lots to be won from this...think of the oil! America is trillions in debt.if we were able to reduce that debt would it not be nice? if we back out now we lose all progress put into it and the 600 billion to one trillion dollars already put into it so we gain little yet lose plenty to back out now

in the last five years from when the first segment is how many things have changed???if i were in that situation i would be stumbling too...remember McCain was in the vietnam war so hes not too likely to forget about the troops and as 30yrdem said it would be a complete loss of time, money and most importantly human life to leave a small task force to fight off the enemy. How quickly do you think they would be destroyed? I personally do not have a suggestion on when to bring the troops back...

Guess what MCcain said after "That's not really important" didn't quite go along with the vid. Hmm.. oh.. here's another thing to think about... What exactly did he mean by "troops coming home" in each of those clips? There's troops comming home everyday, does that mean his answer should be tomorrow?? Seriously people. Gains would be lost if we were to follow the policy advocated by Senator Barack Obama to withdraw most of our troops and leave behind only a small "strike force" to battle terrorists. That is, in essence, the same strategy of withdrawing from Iraq's streets that failed in 2006.

I know it's a small sample, but I've talked with 9 servicemen now that have been in Iraq -- and all of them are supporting Barack.
I believe at least 3 of them would've voted for Republican candidate Ron Paul had he won the nomination.
