@HadeesHeart This the orginal??? Huh? This is the remix they did of it. This came out in 91. I remember my brother buying it on CD. The original was 81.
@HadeesHeart lol. Nope, im not that daft to think Coldplay were the originals.....speaking of those guys. I couldn't believe it the first time i heard the track 'Talk'. I thought.........those robbing motherfu...................(even though they got permission they're still robbing bastards!)
@161194 it was coldplay. and they didnt steal it, they got kraftwerks permission to use the melody in 'talk' - its a funny story, chris martin from coldplay sent the band a letter asking for permission and weeks later he received a handwritten note that just had 'yes' written on it :')
Love de Kraftwerk. Das Computer Love is de best! I wish Kraftwerk were still making good sounds. Guess they are drinking many pints and enjoying life. Thank you Kraftwerk! You've made life much better for years now!
I love this version. The arpeggios and bass are hypnotic and it sounds awesome cranked up to eleven in the car. However, my girlfriend and I always laugh when he says " I need a daughter date, Daughter date"... That line always seemed creepy/odd to me.
I want to use this music...im writing a book" about a team, girls and boys, in red sweaters, and tie, that drives in red cars, patroling" and encounter giant girls...and i wish this to be the main theme...
@leeho98 Why is that, you slow down our society right? you dont want girls to have a certain position? ore is it wrong to have fantasy, this old song isnt much, and nobody listens to it anymore, but i do, youtube is just for watching, i wish to use this for something interesting,
@cervisa3 No, your blithering idea is a complete fucking bag of turds, a debate of Computerlove or Computerworld is not present, so I suggest you don't bring the song up at all, and think a little about your un-available idea, driving red cars and encountering giant girls? Are you fucking dumb? Sounds like the shittiest and gayest fucking fruitcake idea possible to be associated with this.
I like how this is ruining the song! Stupid english version! The German version is better. Anyways... Nice to still have them around! Cheers! And those who do not understand who they really are... go listen to some Coldplay and compare them into your heads...
All you people arguing about Coldplay and Karftwerk... STFU! They got permission to use the melody and change the form of the song into their style... geeze. They can't really compete, because one is elctro while the other is just... awesome.
@johneboy16 exactly this song was in 1981 Coldplay's song Talk was made in 2005 lol yall have it wrong Coldplay borrowed this tune. its not the other way around!! :)

I agree with JudgeJudas; I like what CP did with the melody, but this was KW's creation and it stands today as some of their best and most beautiful work. It's more fun to compute, damn it! (O:
And i heard Coldplay ripped another tune: for the 7th time now... ( Peter Allen - I go to Rio)
To Coldplay: you had some nice songs, the scientist / clocks / yellow ... but after that, the inspiration was completely lost, and you started to rip off other peoples creativity. Please stop it. And find your own sound again
Coldplay and Kraftwerk are both fantastic in their own unique styles....in this way, kraftwerk pioneered the tune but coldplay improvised....however, the coldplay mood of the song is a bit played on a minor scales (sad and unhappy). The kraftwerk's work sounds more on a major scales (joyful)....interesting !!!!
@everyone uhmm, I'm pretty sure Chris Martin wrote to Kraftwerk before he used their melody.... in fact, being that Kraftwerk is pretty aloof from the public Martin received simply a handwritten reply in the mail with the single word "Yes". So there is no argument here. Coldplay used the melody with Kraftwerk's permission, 25 years later.
In my early high school years (76-80) my good friend was just becoming a dj and told to listen to this beat by KraftWerk at the time was into hardrock, fell in love with the music.Still to this day i still listen to them 48yrs. old lol
@TheOwlking1996 Come on! Karl Bartos has been of much influence to the band. You'd rather check out his Personal stuff. When he was forced to step out of the Work of Kraftwerk, he decided to stay on the track where Kraftwerk has left , in 1986. He was kicked out of Kraftwerk in 1991, tho, but He never stopped capturing that Kraftwerk Atmosphere, and I personally think he has more HEART in his music than Ralf And Florian had. Aw yeh! My buddy & I took my mom's car before either of us had a license & just drove around town blasting this song (because it was one of the few cassettes we had)...& trying not to laugh, or roll up the windows!
@thanatoutheousJr please dont go all off and say childish things like Cuntplay and FagPlay and Queerplay verry original and they didnt copy this song darlin they wrote Kraftwork and asked if they can you it its not stealing bub amd Kraftwork said they could use and and the Joe Satriani thing is fucking stupid. It sounds nothing like it and i love hpw he waited 4 yrs before he said anything. Coldplay didnt steal anything. Ppl are jealous
Kraftwerk and Coldplay is nothing alike its like comparing 100% Electronic music and average pop Kraftwerk plays Moog ^_^ do Coldplay even know what a Moog is ?
That's another evidence to the fact that CuntPlay plagiarize other great artists like Kraftwerk and Joe Satriani. If you are a bunch of talentless bitches, just don't plagiarize the others! Don't play your fucking stolen gay music at all and get a fucking job!
("I'd take a bullet for this song. I mean, if this song were a living, breathing entity and it was in mortal danger from...oh, let's say poachers, I'd dive in front of it just as the shots were fired, and then there'd be a memorial plaque for me somewhere in Dusseldorf. Huh..."

Just so you know "gay" can't describe anything other than a homosexual unless you were trying to say "Coldplay are gay" telling me that they might be homosexual... In which case, I'm sorry...
Guys, can you shut up about Coldplay and enjoy this song? As Keys1281 said, they got PERMISSION. And sure, maybe they should be more original, but who cares? Nothing is original! Now just enjoy the genius.
This is a good sound but the original is better and more true to the lyrics.
