@eimaibazo You right, I had conceive it simply as an explaining of the (obvious after all) identities of the "guys" from which Mechanicus looks for protection to Omnissiah, however, now that you make me notice it, i also realize that K'tans are probably the less chaos-influeced supernatural beign in the galaxy (they are "fully-Materium" beigns) and then it's clear that they are excellent protectors for who want stay away from chaos.

From what i believe, if the void dragon is behind all this, then he wont mess up with the mechanicus. The machine cult is independant of the imperium (more like an ally), its members are mechanised as much as possible. And he needs the imperium to wage war to the forces of the warp. If the warp gets off the way, then the C'Tans plan will unfold.

@Dour888 But as a player of tech Priests and one tech Magos i find the Mechanicum a highly interesting side of 40k. The inquisition isn't ALL to blame for the blind bigotry that is the imperium. The mechanicum will always survive, not because the inquisition allows it, but because the mechanicum are as strong as, if not stronger than, the inquisition.
