@coyoteslayer00 Only northerns are legal to be speared in Minnesota and I will report anyone I see spearing muskies, walleyes, etc. to the DNR.

Yeah, that appears to be a true muskie not a tiger hybrid as skunkape2 states.

That looks more like a pure strain than a tiger muskie

You can tell the difference between a muskie and a nothern by their coloration, and muskies have forked tails whereas northerns have rounded tail tips.

I have been gone from MN for a long time, but what are the laws on spearing in a Muskie lake? Does Waconia only have Tigers? Looks like a lot of fun!

@dci762striker You can spear on the majority of muskie lakes but the muskies themselves are off limits. Also, Waconia is only stocked with true muskies I believe but there may be some naturally occuring tigers in there.
