  • actually these turtles do look alot like a chelydra, if they are i have the only chelydras found in kansas...

  • Ah, nevermind this chyldra is a common snapper. Well, I thought common snappers as hatchlings have a smooth shell. But you're right this is a common snapper because it doesn't have a long hook like beak, and the shell is different than the alligator snapping turtle. Thanks for letting me know.
