Pascal comes to my town a lot. I'm not sure that you knew this, but if you give him a scallop he gives you furniture. I have a small collection of scallops in front of the town hall just for this purpose.

You have to have a scallop with ya. If you don't have one just run down to the beach and search for one on the shore. He'll stay put where he is indefinitely unless you enter a building.

MikaelaGillies, a scallop is, I believe, the rarest type of shell you can find on the beach. it's the type of shell that looks the same when on the ground as a sand dollar (the commonest one, i believe). pascal will not accept white scallops though.

He's an otter. BEFORE you say anything to him, you have to go down to the ocean and get a SCALLOP!

NOT A WHITE SCALLOP. Just a regular SCALLOP. Go talk to him, say you want to hear something, he'll give you advice and ask for a scallop. Give it to him, he'll give you special Pirate Ship furniture and swim away. REMEMBER TO GET THE SCALLOP BEFORE YOU TAKL TO HIM.
