@Bigarceus BTW I actually use GM myself because it's powerful for 2D games and it has the GML! Thoug I don't like even trying to use it for 3D games because it won't support 3D models.

@Handuel13 actually java and game maker language are very similar to each other. I've used both and I see that many of the functions are the same. Learning game maker is actually easier too because there's less stuff to remember.

@Handuel13 yeah im serious. I actually taught myself a decent amount of game maker language and after about 2 weeks I almost fully understand everything. The code is really simple to work with. Unlike java, theres less stuff to remember such as putting semicolons after every statement, etc.

@DoubleMGames Blender is made with Python and supports python code in its game engine. Though I have to admit that I haven't started learning it or even made games with blender. I don't know how to set the rendering correctly in the game engine so I can't use my 3D models in any other way than to make 2D graphics for GM games =( though the graphics get better =D

@eton900 Some people like the challenge. On top of that, you learn some valuable coding along the way of making 3d games in Game maker. Then you can maybe use similar coding to give your 2d games some cool 3d effects.

Ok, first off I do like this. Of course, it could do with ALOT more polish, and only spending 2 hours on it isn't exactly dedicated, is it?

You do have potential, and remember: nearly every creator loves his own creations, so make SURE you get someone to give you their honest opinion.

You might also want to add sound to the game, animations for the reloading, keeping track of the bullets, and to make the breaking wood more...satisfying, i.e. splinters of wood flying everywhere.
