I've heard lots of cardinals singing, but this one is truly amazing! Cardinals typically make 8 to 10 chirps in one song, usually following one or two rising whistles. For this one it's hard to count, but in his first song I would say he let out at least 50, maybe 60 chirps in about 11 seconds. Thanks for capturing this beautiful moment for us and showing us why this is one of North America's most charming and beloved birds!

Wow! The first time I ever heard it singing! They are in my backyard year round, but somehow I never heard them sing like this. Thanks for the video.
