You're right - it really depends on the baby and their shape. We had a lot of newborn clothes too - I'd say my daughter was in them for about 2 months. She was born 7 lbs 10 oz. But we went through those clothes over and over again. Between spit ups and poopy diaper explosions, we changed her outfit at least once or twice a day. Keep the stuff, but keep the tags on them too!

Excited to hear the final verdict! Also, if you have a ton of newborn clothes I would def. return some. You barely take them out of onesies and sleepers for the first few months. At least that has been my experience with my nephews.
