  • This is one of those songs that sounds less and less trans supportive each time I hear it... good melody though.

  • @valeriereified

how does a woman feel when she meets an effeminate man who tries to transform himself into a female? Welcoming, delighted, compassionate, sympatico? Is there an immediate bond of sisterhood, or does she find it odd, disquieting, hard to sympathize with? Non-typical gender identity and behavior is just hard to get used to, it sort of scrambles one's own self-image to even consider - so the song is both admiring and critical -

  • @SupernalOne *facepalms* Trans womyn pre transition are *NOT* effeminate men. They are womyn.

  • @valeriereified I'm not sure it's as blatantly obvious as that. MAN WHO LOOKS LIKE WOMANNN, NUH NUH NUH, TRANSEXUAAAL. etc.

  • loved this song when I was at high school and it sounds just as good now!

  • Great track. Very underrated album.

  • Bloody BRILLIANT album throughout and this is a great track feat Richard Thompson of Fairport on lead guitar for the end solo

  • ". . . not exactly natural, stunning nonetheless."

What a writer! I remember reading her commentary on this song.

Let's hope the copyright pigs leave this stuff alone!!

    Thank you (-:
