I think I remember hearing that guitar riff in Queenof The Damned when Maura says to her mother w/blood tears that she wants to stay with the vampires forever
Fantastic song, thanks for posting this. I actually stumbled across this gem while continuing my eight year long search to find another unknown 80s Goth track.
Lyrics at various times go "Who can see. We're looking into you. We can see right through." and "One hundred thousand sinners hanging from the chandeliers."
If anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated.
I don't know what happened to them. After about '87, I never heard of them again. I only got to see them this one time. I've got a demo cassette though, and the studio version of this song is in my all-time top 10 favourite songs.
Wow, so they *do* have real studio recorded material, even if it's just a demo tape? Neat! I already tried scouring Ebay, GEMM, and MusicStack for a copy, but came up empty. :(
They did one studio demo cassette in 1986 consisting of just four tracks. "Suns Kiss Mothers" is probably the best, although another track, "Acanthus" is also pretty good too.
I've uploaded the studio "Suns Kiss Mothers" to bigupload for you, an uncompressed wav file of 45mb, (for the best sound quality). It's here-
bigupload$com/d=CBB66093 (Change the dollar to a dot).
It's great how she drops down an octive in the last verse, she was a much better singer than the video implies.
Thank you sir, this really made my day! She's definitely a talented singer in this recording (and you're right that she's gorgeous, too). I wish they could have released something proper. You don't mind if I share this song, do you? I know some folks who'd love it. I'd definitely give you credit for it, too (it never hurts to ask, right?).
Hi there. I notice that the upload is still there at the bigupload site mentioned in a previous comment. Also, there's a band covering this track now too, it's on their Myspace at /momentomoriuk

Thank you. Got a copy of Riposte today. You have cleared up something that's been bugging me for nine years.
Cheers again.

Even if the sound guy was asleep at the mixer, the song really shines through. This band sounds pretty good! What ever happened to them?
