Man, that drill head only showed up as an obstacle in the sequel, I didn't think he'd be a normal boss here. You know, DC, it's too bad you didn't have the Grab Bat minigame from the sequel. It's really easy to play and can get you a crazy stupid number of lives. I had about 40 when I beat the game :V

You know, This giant robot has almost the same movement as the giant in La-Mulana. The only difference is this one doesn't fire laser balls of death at you.

This robot boss reminds me of the giant statue boss in La Mulana, except without the extra platforms the stand on, and the rocks falling from the ceiling. It's something about the way he walks, and thrusts his hand toward you.

Kirin is kinda a horse-dragon-girrafe.

The Kirin or sometimes Kyrin, is a mythical hooved Chinese chimerical creature known throughout various East Asian cultures, and is said to appear in conjunction with the arrival of a sage. It is a good omen that brings rui roughly translated as "serenity" It is often depicted with what looks like fire all over its body. It is sometimes misleading called the "Chinese unicorn" due to conflation with the unicorn by Westerners.

Can't wait to see what game you come out with after this one, so far this hasn't been my favorite, if it wasn't for your commentary I would most certainly not suffer through this game. Congrats for keeping me entertained though!
