Um... the Tuolomne river is Class IV. Clavey falls itself is almost always Class IV+ or five and at normal damn release (2500CFS) flows you do the right side in rafts. Done it 5 times. This year at 7500 CFS we did the left side and went OVER rocks that we had to go bettween this one year. Yes, "Cherry Creek" is the pure class V rapid upstream. Doing that this year too.

Clavey's class IV at most water levels, and the left is the best raft line except way high water. If you want V go upstream a few miles.
