hey Halo combat evolved came out 10 years ago and then you look at the grafics of this and say this is the next generation of games! i don't know what to say.
Ok, this is nothing HD console owners will envy (though many do need to pour insults on it for some sad reason). But this is a fine FPS package for Wii. Get 4 mates round, go on invasion or Vs, a nicely balanced online.
Graphics? Way I see it DOOM 2 still rocks more than most HD shooters. These visuals function well enough for me.

I have a Wii and the Conduit. I will be getting Conduit 2 right when it comes out. I play PS3, 360, and PC. To tell you the truth, it doesn't make me angry when people say those systems are good systems, because they are, but it does irritate me when people say the Wii sucks. In all honesty, the Wii does have bad graphics, glitches, laggy online games, etc., but it DOES NOT SUCK. I play it, and I have fun. People need to stop condemning this system from potentially being playable. Seriously.
@josuethebrick I recommend Metroid Prime 3 Corruption, it's a few year old but still in my opinion the best shooter on the Wii. But if you think otherwise I still recommed checking it out, loads of fun and a story that hooks you to the end.

@Tepuzone You do not need motion plus, but it does add a little bit extra sensitivity and helps off screen pointer tracking. You can also play with the Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro.

@DisarrayINC If the graphics shown in this video are very old, the fully-developed graphics will probably look unbelievable! I like how HVS is putting time and work into developing Conduit 2 unlike other developers to make sure they get it right.
@smashbrosfan13 In some places and situations the graphics are very pretty, and not just for a Wii game. The issue arises mainly in the DC region where the game is set in a bland brown area of little interest. At points though you get some very detailed destroyed buildings, and some of the underground corridors have a beautiful green lighting that really shows off some style. You'll also see places like Agartha and the Amazon with beautiful environments. Check out hvs-network.ning.com for more.

i think activision should task out HVS with the next call of duty port for the wii, they have the perfect engine for it, plus its call of duty, a franchise that sells and does pretty good in the market. more like the perfect match. but i really love to see the quantum3 engine being used for a wider variety of genres. thumbs up if you agree with me.
I really want this game to be good, but after watching a lot of Conduit 2 gameplay vids today its almost clear that the AI in this game is gonna be bad if not mediocre at best. Goldeneye has dang good AI. I just wish developers would try a little harder. The grudge move way too slow and I dunno about you, but whether Im a badass or not, I'm not gonna just run at you with my big gun and hope for the best.

This looks like it will be a pretty solid game. However, I'm honestly ready for Nintendo to release their next console. I mean, I own The Conduit, and I love it, but it's not nearly as large as many other first person shooters, and the graphics don't come close to anything like Crysis, or Halo Reach. Don't get me wrong, I like this game, and in my personal opinion, Nintendo DOES have the best control scheme. All in all, for a Wii game this looks impressive.

In order to make this a success they really need to put in multiplayer vehicles like in Halo if it did I would buy this any day over golden eye + black ops I hope thats what they're doing with the extended release date

This footage is from a very old, Alpha (not even Beta) build of the game. Graphical quality has since greatly improved.

i think activision should task out HVS with the next call of duty port for the wii, they have the perfect engine for it, plus its call of duty, a franchise that sells and does pretty good in the market. more like the perfect match. but i really love to see the quantum3 engine being used for a wider variety of genres. thumbs up if you agree with me.

I really want this game to be good, but after watching a lot of Conduit 2 gameplay vids today its almost clear that the AI in this game is gonna be bad if not mediocre at best. Goldeneye has dang good AI. I just wish developers would try a little harder. The grudge move way too slow and I dunno about you, but whether Im a badass or not, I'm not gonna just run at you with my big gun and hope for the best.

@gnomehunter88 uuuh the AI is supposed to react based on your health and equipment, how is it supposed to react to a player with infinate health? the player in all those vids has an invincibility cheat, so you cant really say that

This looks like it will be a pretty solid game. However, I'm honestly ready for Nintendo to release their next console. I mean, I own The Conduit, and I love it, but it's not nearly as large as many other first person shooters, and the graphics don't come close to anything like Crysis, or Halo Reach. Don't get me wrong, I like this game, and in my personal opinion, Nintendo DOES have the best control scheme. All in all, for a Wii game this looks impressive.

I just can't get over the fact that even though the Wii started off as a motion gaming thing, focusing on that doesn't really make up for the horribly low graphics on the system, especially now when bot the PS3 and 360 do motion gaming better (atleast the PS3 does).

I got sick of halo reach so quick |( but Im still looking foward to this game but not paying attention to it right now so the time passes so much faster and see the day when I get my hands on this game cause I loved the Conspiracy story...ps still have halo reach just to play with friends when they come over

I dig Killzone, Halo, and the Conduit.
Games are games regardless of the platform and I enjoy what I enjoy.

Graphics aren't really a big deal like these kids on here make it seem. I play Black Ops but when The Conduit 2 drops, I think I'll get it too cuz I liked n killed the 1st one.

I used to play the Conduit and I was so stoked for this game. But then it kept getting delayed so I got an Xbox and Halo: Reach and it made me realize what a total mess the Conduit was :P I still have my wii, so what so you guys think? Should I get this r not?

i liked the story in the first one enough to finish it but when i went online it sucked because of too much lag so basically it just didnt live up to my expectations and while this one looks better im still hesitent

In order to make this a success they really need to put in multiplayer vehicles like in Halo if it did I would buy this any day over golden eye + black ops I hope thats what they're doing with the extended release date
