How is it that you can take your hit with the downstem still in??? I see you pulled the bowlhead out, but the camera angle prevents us from seeing the top after you take your rip.
I ask because I want to make my own but cant figure out what mechanism allows you to leave the downstem in while you hit it. Please get back to me.. from one gravity bubbling aficionado to another ;)

@airs2418 well its hard to see, but on the female joint where the bowl goes there are 5 slits that let the smoke come through into your lungs once you remove the slide.. but with the slide in there, the glass on glass joint forms a seal and lets it bubble.. its difficult to explain.

@KaitlynElaine1 no the first piece is the gravity bubbler, the second little one is a medicali bubbler.. though to my knowledge, medicali is no longer making these bubblers.. so you might have some trouble finding one.

@kimmostube this is only the second one ive ever seen, the other belongs to my friend.. i got mine at a local headshop... as soon as i saw it i had to buy it just cause i havent seen them for sale anywhere else lol. i bet youd probably be able to find one online some place though, if you trust buying glass online.
