  • Your a fucken Dumbass red neck. What the Fuck do you know

  • Everyone listen up!!! Steps for REALLY making karaoke using audacity. 1: press audacity widget. 2: Click 'File' and press open and find the song you want. 3: It will load 4: Then go up to effect and there will be a small arrow at the bottom. 5:Click that arrow 6: It will say : remove vocal. 7: Click it. 8: type in 100 200 in the box it brings up. Then press play. It does not totally remove vocals but it does it pretty well. If anyone has any questions just ask :)

  • that isnt completely instrumental thats why i cant find any other way of making my tracks karaoke...

  • Comment removed

  • wat if my track is already a mono track and nt stereo

  • wow...what an amazing wallpaper...

  • is this the only fuckin way to remove the dayummmmm vocal this is the shityst way it kills the beat bass and everything no offence to the user but for real im tired of lookin at tutorials with the same shit can someone make a new way for not killin the beat bass and all the good stuf plz and thk u and again no offence to the user

  • @kema702 Although I agree that this isn't very effective with most MP3s, that certainly sounded like you were intending to offend the uploader. If you're tired of looking at tutorials, take a break and try something else.

It's very hard to remove vocals effectively with very little work like this. There's all this about sound theory, fine-tuning the frequencies, trial and error, blah blah, too much for me to understand. Unless you're a professional, you'll want a pro to do this for you.

  • @RookieComment sorry if i offended ur bf

  • @kema702 Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know I was talking to an immature ten-year-old who resorts to empty ad hominem attacks when cornered.

  • @RookieComment wow u think u sound intelegent by using big words ur cool

  • @kema702 Why thank you, young man! It's nice to meet a "polite" ten-year-old once in a while.

  • WOW. every time i do this it drowns out the drums and bass.

  • yes it works for just a few songs

  • was gonna rate it a 5....but then i saw your Smallville background...Sry there's no 6 stars :)

  • except it does sound a little muffled :P

  • oo cool it works!!!!

  • didnt work

    just made it echoey

  • All it does is makes the vocals all echoy

  • actually you can hear just the echos louder

  • Is there anyway to manually or automatically remove the "wispers" that remain after following your directions?

  • yes you can use the Remove Noise function

  • *noise reduction, sry

  • I have a problem, if I try to input a file and change it everything works corectly...Exept, when I invert it, the sound doesn't work after that- At all. Help please?? I've never been able to do this before.

  • oooo whats the name of that song??!! its sooo nice

  • Its called: A Song For Dustmies By: Steve Burns

  • i did all the steps but i cant hear a thing

  • @nerdstein99 Same!

  • thats because you have inverted both. be sure to only select 1 channel before inverting it

  • everytime i do this.. it never has any sounds anymore -__- even though i followed all the steps

  • hmm. . . i dont get it it works for me everytime idk

  • did you download any plugins or somethings?

  • no not that i know of, maybe you could send me the song you are trying to remove vocals from through aim and i could try it and send it back to you

  • is the audacity program you download suppose to have "project" as a shortcut or do we have to import the sound by oursevles.

  • After following everything exactly, and making sure that my subtitle before the arrow matchs your text exactly, my song had no sound at all though the "lines" are still there. I am very confused and have no idea how to fixx this because I've watched your video a couple times now & have had no luck. Please help!!

  • huh. . . well maybe your sound is muted or something. maybe try another way through another video. idk its worked on all of mine

  • Well I think whats wrong is that I downloaded the magic school bus song & tryed to remove the vocals but afterwards (its not muted) it has no sound, only static. Then when I changed it back from mono to left & right speaker (after it didn't work) & the song played again. Do you think you could help me? I'm on a major time crunch & have been trying for weeks. THANKS

  • Thx that function sorry , i click on bad sound

  • I make it i talk you what i do . 1 i play music 2 i split stereo 3 click on down song 4 invert 5 first set mono down then set mono up and the sound is crashed

  • I want only the song no sing. Help

  • well thats what this video shows you how to do it, what are you having trouble with

  • lol i remove instrumental lol help me

  • so you want to remove all the music and only have the vocals remaining??

  • Heyy, very impressive tutorial. Is there a way I can import the instrumentals and import my vocals and put them together on that program? Thanks.

  • yes thats how mix my music

  • that is cool! thx man

  • Very good. works for a select few of songs. thx

  • ya it doesnt work on every song it just depends on how the original song was mixed

  • Okay when i go to audacity in yahoo or w.e. it gives me some AVS shit when i download it. UGH this thing pisses me off. how do i get audacity and not the AVS Audio editor crap??

  • go to yahoo and search audacity and then its the second one that comes up on the list

  • That isn't how it's usually done, but yeah... it should work for most of songs. Thought, this way you loose the stereo. I recommend to fake it by tuning balance a little left or right on each track. Good and easy tutorial.

Warning: Removing voice from copyright protected songs and then using it as a karaoke in public wouldn't be a good idea ;). But still, it can be done in home for parties or just for fun. So have it! The fun I mean.

  • yes, it is. google it.

  • i am glad yankee2be1994 showed me this

  • Cool demo!

  • thanks. its my first tutorial

  • Very cool, do you know how to remove guitar, if that's even possible?

  • well, i dont think there is but im not positive.

why would you do that though??? lol

if you havent already would you please subscribe to my videos

  • I'd want to do it to play guitar along with the drums and vocals in the background when I'm practicing.

  • oh i see thats a great idea. let me research this and see if i can find out. im not sure and ive never tried it. i will see what i can find out to help you

  • Simply amazing

  • Awesome video!
