There's no doubt in my mind that Norm is going to be an honest to god hermit when he's done with comedy. He will move to Alaska or something and live in a shack, getting groceries and supplies once a month by air drop.
Wow this interview reminded me why I don't listen to terrestrial radio in the car. These people make me want to drive off a cliff. Norm however is amazing.
Norm's comedy- his incredible knack for highlighting the absurdities that spring forth from everyday situations- wouldn't be possible if he partakes in the absurdity. This entire interview was sincere. Anything you read on Norm confirms it, that other than Artie and a few other exceptions, he's a recluse. He doesn't drive a car, he stays at home for weeks at a time, he doesn't date, etc. Norm is what he says he is; a guy who has few cliche vices, because he's too fascinated by reality.
It may not be laugh out loud hilarious, but "or maybe you" might be the most crushing comeback of Norm MacDonald's life.
