my explorer post was a joke, i wish some of the stuff/training that other explorers have is what we had. it made it less interesting/bored.

I think explorers should have the opportunity to work around police dogs. Too many officers do not know how to safely work around a K9.

Dude, no offence but that is the worse hand to hand combat training I've ever seen. When I was an explorer, we definitely had some intense training. Same with my OPOTA training. These guys need to toughen up a little bit.

man I am getting old, those cops look so young!!!! ( I am jealous!!!!) They need to put some muscle on though, and some german shepherds to assist!!!!

@johniac7078 Yes, Explorers range in age from 14-21 years old. They are not certified law enforcement officers, they are part of a community oriented law enforcement training program where some of their duties include traffic direction, crowd control, event security, and similar tasks. The center of the program is to educate the youth on all aspects of law enforcement so that they may have a more successful career in the field. Thanks for watching!
