  • ihr habt recht das ist der beste film aller zeiten

  • I remember being told by my dad that this was on one evening. I was skeptical, but not anymore! It's so darn brilliant...the plot, the cast, oddball, Moriarty's negative waves...sooo glad that I watched this at 11 years old!

  • The sarge (Telly Savalas), The wacko (Donald Sutherland) and Crapgame(Don Rickles) are key to the films success.

  • this film is my favorite of all time, brilliant, awesome soundtrack, great cast.

  • The Photographer Took A Shot! 1:20

  • iI loved it, its was magic and a cast full of true actors !!!!!!

  • kellys heroes really is one of the best!!!!!!!!

  • I wouldn't say the greatest film ever. But it was pretty great. Much better then that george Clooney movie that was sort of like it. Kelly's Heroe's had a much better ending as well.

  • I don't know I just hated the style and the unrealisticness of the movie.

  • @bladeezguy It was supposed to be fun. No it is no saving Private Ryan or Patton.

  • Woof Woof Woof it's a life style choice not just a movie!

The doctors must be right movies do affect your behaviour in later life LOL.

  • kelly,s is the best movie of its time and still is two this day clint eastwood is the best actor ever and always will.all of his movies are good Im 52 now but I was 12 years old when kelly,s heroes came out I Loved it then and still do

  • kelly,s is the best movie of its time and still is two this day clint eastwood is the best actor ever and always will.all of his movies are good

  • kelly,s is the best movie of its time and still is two this day clint eastwood is the best actor ever and always will.

  • "will you knock it off with the negative waves" one of the best "guy" movies ever

  • what a superb film truly the best

  • I am 17 and you would imagine people of my age would be saying "Avatar" or "Titanic" is the best films ever. Well they would be wrong. This and "The good, the bad and the ugly" are by far my favorite films. You cant beat Clint Eastwood when it comes to acting.

  • @iLLUSiiONS111 Well....I happen to be a sad old bas**!! at the age of 42. I first saw this movie at the age of about 10. Since then, whenever it's on TV, I have always taken the time out to catch it, even though I have the DVD and the VHS copies in my collection; not to mention the original film poster which cost me a fortune, and many other bits and pieces, ammassing a total cost which my Wife says that I could have spent on her (yeah...fat chance!!).

  • truly the greatest and the music over top love it saw when it when it first came out and still watch it ever chance i get

  • i ve first seen this film when i was 7 or 8 years old.now am 30 and still i bealieve that its the best ever film.

the tims has change, new actors, new fx but this film has something different.....for me at list has heart, spirit.

  • this is simply the greatest movie i have ever seen.

  • "Definitely an anti-social type... woof woof woof... That's my other dog imitation." :)

  • 0:46 the bridge is up,plane come's BANG na it aint all ways with the negative way

  • One of the greatest movies ever made! "...it's a wasted trip, baby. Nobody said anything about locking horns with a Tiger tank!"

  • oddball was so out of place in this film, there were no negative vibes in 1944,no laying around catching some rays,no full beards, still a good movie tho..

  • @nedodge0506

Oddball was placed there for comedy not reality

  • @nedodge0506 oddball was a beatnik and they were around in the 1940s. I'm an old gal of 60 and remember beatniks were still around in the 1950s. They looked and spoke just like Oddball. And they really didn't like negative vibes so would likely say, ' cool it with the negative vibes, man.' When they liked something they would say, 'that's cool, man.'

  • Woof woof woof woof, that's my other dog impression you know *nods*

  • Too many classic lines and scenes to recall!

  • kelleys heros rocks!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THAT SONG BURNING BRIDGES!!!!! it is the best movie of all time!!!!!! i HAVE THAT MOVIE AND WATCHED IT A THOSUANDS OF TIMES. I CANT GET ENOUGHT OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i agree, the best war film ever made..

    Anne, 59

    Denmark

  • i love this movie i still have it on dvd the case and disk

  • A superb war film with a superb blend of drama, suspense, comedy, and ODDNESS from that Oddball ........ he loved that Tiger Tank - so did I - I would have no Negative Waves Moriarty it was a beautiful tank indeed!

  • @Detroitlove4U

I, too, love "Kelly's Heroes," and have been watching it since I was a small child. It's too bad that the Tiger 1's in the movie are really made up of Russian T-34 chassis with fake Tiger 1 bodies and turrets, but getting real German WW2 tanks has always been a problem for Hollywood - (i.e. - "Patton," "Battle of the Bulge," "Misfit Brigade," "Saving Private Ryan" (although the light Czech tanks were used by the Germans), Etc. Take care and Happy Holidays to you and yours!

  • awesome song!

  • And another thing - this film was written by Troy Kennedy Martin - a British writer who died this year. Also wrote The Italian Job.

  • @stevebritgimp

This movie was directed by Brian G. Hutton, who also directed "Where Eagles Dare," also with Clint Eastwood. He gave up directing in the mid-eighties to become a plumber!?!?

  • This is one of the best movies evah!

    "It's still up!"

    *Bombing*

    "....no, it ain't..."

  • im just 15 years old man but i love this movie.

  • Also, nothing cooler then seeing Clint shoot a tommy gun at Nazis. My dad and 2 uncles served in WWII as well.

One of the great estWWII films of all time.... along with A Bridge to Far, The Longest Day, Dirty Dozen, Force 10 from Navarone, Patton, and Where Eagles Dare.

  • Excellent taste, my friend.

  • Thanks dude! I LOVE this movie!

  • The Bridge on the River Kwai..a classic

  • @gizmonic65 dirty dozen and this r funny movies

  • I cannot say enought great things about this movie. Love the cast, the plot, etc. I really love this movie, brings back so many memories of being a kid and staying up late to watch it those summer nights...so long ago. Great tribute to a great movie!

  • Am right with you there. Got introduced to it by my dad who first saw it onboard ship in the navy way back when.

  • I love Kelly's happy days..........

  • This really is an awesome movie. Underrated is right.

  • So much better than either Patton or M*A*S*H.

  • Amen

  • My father and me love this MOVIE!!!!!

  • My stepfather was an infantryman in the U.S. 29th. Division during WWII and he absolutely loved this movie! He believed that it depicted the true attitudes of the American Soldier during WWII better than any other film. A bunch of guys sick and tired of being jerked around by their officers and being "shot at, bombed on, and mortered on all the way from the Normandy beachhead". This movie is a true classic and should never be remade because the original cannot be improved on!

  • don't see alot of movies with a real

    tiger, make that 3 tigers.

  • Converted T34'S. This movie was filmed in Yugoslavia Tito supplied a bunch of vehicles. The first movie ever to actually try to replicate a tiger.

  • They did a good job. Not like watching the stuff they used in "Battle of the Bulge" ...

  • They were just M60 Patton's painted

  • @UBIQUEROL

That's correct! And, the American tanks in "Battle of the Bulge" were also Korean War era. In reality, they were King Tigers and Shermans. Take care and Happy Holidays to you and yours!

  • Dude, sad to say they are not real Tiger tanks, they are Russian tanks. But very well put together for this movie. I was sad to hear they were not real tigers myself.

  • Actually those tiger tanks are completely built fomr the gorund up

they use an M113 Chassis and construct an original tank

they did the same for saving private ryan

  • @JimBeam69er

You're right about the same tanks in "Saving Private Ryan," but they're built on Russian T-34 chassis. Read my previous comment to DetroitLove4U as I listed other movies with 'phoney' German tanks. Take care and Happy Holidays to you and yours!

  • @classiclistener01 no i have to differ your response

the saving private ryan Tiger is Built on an M113 APC chassis but the Kellys tigers are t-34s.

can you tell me where the last King TIGER resides

  • @JimBeam69er

Look at the treads and the sprocket wheels on the Tiger 1s in "Saving Private Ryan," you'll see that they are T-34 chassis. The M113 APCs' sprocket wheels are in the front / T-34s' are in the rear.

The last fully-operational King Tiger (Tiger II) is at Musee des Blindes, Saumur, France. Others are in the Patton Cavalry and Armor Museum, Fort Knox, Kentucky; Bovington, in England; and many others, even in private collections. These tanks' sprocket wheels are also in the front.

  • @JimBeam69er

you ignorant ape, that was not on an m113, still on a T34 as in Kelly's!

King Tiger, fully running is in Saumur, France, at least one.

  • Who was the guy with the fez?

  • This was WW@ right? Why did Sutherland play a hippie?

  • It gave him an excuse to be nutty

  • Oddball would have been considered "Bohemian" back then. Or maybe just a hobo with a tank.

Some releases lack the scene at the end where one of the "heros" wrote the Killroy sign on the bank wall with "Up yours, baby" underneath.

  • Who wouldn't want to be a hobo with a tank? I guarantee people would throw hundred dollar bills at you when you ask for change XD

  • no doubt

  • no doubt, best movie ever made!

  • BEST MOVIE EVER!!!

  • Just see it! It is a must!

  • And uncle Leo................

  • WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF

  • A truly great film i agree........ and not any foul language throughout !

Proves you can make good films without bad language

  • Kelly and Oddball said a few bad words but that's about it.

  • The best war film ever.. it should never be copied.. what a classic.. if you agree give the thumbs up...

  • You got no argumument from me. I own the tape and practically got it memorized.

  • "De Gaulle? He ain't even IN this war!"

  • so what still a good film :)

  • That's "Bab-ra!"

  • I ain't takin' on no Tiger with a Sherman! No way, bruddah!

(Man shows a lot of good sense.)

  • Your video is great! Kelly's Heros is one of my favorites. Thanks for posting.

  • WOOF WOOF WOOF!

    ... pause ...

    ... dead pan look ...

    That's my other dog impression!

LMAO, you just GOTTA love Oddball, and it's a mother-beautiful movie

  • for all the historical inaccuracies...this film is truly amazing....shame 90% of the German soldiers/vilage folk have all got 1970's hairstyles...I'm now knocking it off with the negative waves......

  • that was the great thing about this movie ever one acted like it was the 70s

    WOOF WOOF WOOF!

  • OHH ODDBALL

  • Nice job Woof Woof Woof!

  • Great job on the editing and combining it with the music Who did the drawings?
