EV (Effort Value) training is when you train your Pokemon to be high in certain stats by fighting Pokemon that have a certain dominant stat. Say you want your Pokemon to have a killer Defense stat; then you will battle Pokemon that are dominant in Defense, such as a Graveler or any Steel-type. Defeating them gives you extra points in Defense.

It takes time to understand fully. But if you do it, your Pokemon will grow to be much tougher than usual.

@PokeMonger BT thought he would use a Fire type move, and so he switched into Tentacruel to sponge the hit. CrunkSkunk predicted a switch into something that would resist the Fire type move, but his Tentacruel resists both of Infernapes STABs, so it was the best switch he colud make. :P

@Gamer2Xbox I'm not the maker of the video, but my suggestion is just use an action replay.

There's a special program out there to make pokemon perfectly EV trained, also lets you customize abilities, and where you caught it, what ball its in, and its moves.

If you want to wifi battle make it perfectly EV trained, and abilities it would normally have in the wild.

It's fun to mess around with a sableye and drifbloom (dark/ghost) and wonder guard. Nothing can hit it.

-cant really tell because you didn't post their natures/evs/items (if trained or not) - typing at a glance is ok

- you have to many attackers,raw power never wins you need some more stalls/walls, try getting a wheather changer/spikes/steath rock/trick

- 2 turn moves aren't recomended unless if you dont care if they hit

- no hyperbeam/giga impact

- look at smogon for more info
