@mysteryglo I have been pushing myself to get out more. When I get those spinal injections I can get out and about pretty good for about 2 months them the nerve pains starts back again. I try to treat myself to a little thrift store shopping once in awhile. Haley had to smell all the strange smells on that stuff. :)

@imperceptibleme So glad the weather is getting better for everyone. It makes it so much nicer to get out and go places. I have got to get me some little filters for that coffee maker. I think it will be the perfect size for me. I had lots of fun today at the auction. I even made a video of it. :)
I've had little 4 cup coffee pots for years. The big ones waste too much space, I rarely ever made more than a half pot anyway, and even that was more caffeine than I needed. My mugs hold 2 "coffee cups" worth, so I get 2 big mugfulls, and that's plenty. And they're fast. No waiting for a big one to chug its way through. I love 'em.
@anmoose That is the exact reason I bought that little coffee maker. I only drink 2 mugs of coffee anyway and even if I make a half a pot I always end up pouring some out. My apartment is very small and I hardly have any counter space so this small pot will free some up for me. :)
Now I just have to go buy some 4 cup filters and I am in business.
My husband works for GoodYear Tire & Rubber Co here in Union City, TN & unfortunately our plant here is closing by end year :( My husband being a pipe fitter & maintanence will more than likely be offered to relocate to another plant & Fayetteville, NC is one he said would be at top of the list. I have only been to NC once & that was on our wedding anniversary, just over the state line in the mountains. I have heard it is a pretty state but a long way from home here in TN! :(
@1970sarteaga I am a transplant to NC. I grew up in Michigan but I have lived here since the early 80s and it is home to me now. I just love it here. It is hard to move from home but sometimes it works out ok. I wish you all the best of luck. :)
@silverscreamgrl Beth I had so much fun getting out. I love the treasure chest. I am not sure yet if I will reline the box but if I do I sure will show it. I have to get some spay adhesive and see how it reacts with the velvet on that dress. It may not do well since there is polyester in that dress. I might just make some throw pillows for my bed out of the dress. :)

Seeing the hints of spring coming makes us hopeful, and 79 degrees will be wonderful! You got some great deals at the Goodwill! That steamer looks like it was part of an expensive set! Way to go Debbie!! xo

I BET THERE IS SO MUCH GOOD STUFF IN YOUR GOODWILL SINCE YOU LIVE IN SUCH A BIG CITY. SOMETIMES OUR GOODWILL HAS LOTS OF NEW STUFF DONATED BY TARGET. SO LIKE I ALWAYS SAYS SAY YOU JUST NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU MIGHT FIND. :)
