Did you know that Dave Keon also Don Cherry played for a junior team called the Sudbury Wolves? not relevant to the present Junior A level but like a Senior C league which i do not think exists today.

I remember watching my older cousin who played with the now defunct Toronto Marlboros from 1973 to 1975 and won the Memorial Cup in 1975 with Toronto then was picked up by the Sudbury Wolves in 1975-76 & I thought that team was going to go all the way to the Memorial Cup in 1976 & win it.

Sudbury probably had more heart then any of the teams in the playoffs. The atmosphere in the Sudbury arena was soo intense. We were sooooo prooud of them.

It's nice to see a northern team do well, even if it is the Wolves, but the true OHL final was between the Knights and the Whale. Sudbury was hot but they weren't much competition for the Whalers and the Knights and Rangers would have smoked them as well.
