Just listen at the background here at 0:26, that is a prolonged scream, not a good clean high note.
Just check around on his video's he loves to do that "drag queen" singing scream.
It is not because he is gay I care, I just don't think it is a good voice and in fact am completely baffled why anyone would think so.

He doesnt even scream in his falsetto, in fact i don't consider it a scream at all. Danny Gokey screamed in the aerosmith song. Why people are so amazed by it is for that reason exactly how is he singing in such a high octave with a great sound and great style.
