I don't know if it beats Motown, but it sure as hell came in close. Either way, we have 2 things in common. We're from Motown and we love the Philly sound. I went to my first hall and oates concert when i was 11 with my mom(the huge fan).... before any music really meant anything to me and i couldn't tell you any of rare song hall and oates played but moral of the story I remember t-bone bending over to hand me a pick. It may not have meant much to you T-Bone but here I am 13yrs later and that's the only memory I have.

Hall & Oates are simply amazing. "Our Kind of Soul" is really a great CD. They did a lot the classic soul songs justice. I also love how they did over "Love TKO." They also put a great spin on "Used to Be My Girl" by the O'Jays.
