I am glad to hear what a great job you did on it. Bonnie Owens would be proud. I met her once in the 80's while she was touring with Merle. That was awesome! From one singer to another, you definately got a good set of pipes on you. Personally, I think less is more with songs like this, so it could've done without the big run in the second verse, but it didn't take away from the song by any means. It sounds like you have good control over your voice too, which is impressive. Not only can I hear you on the radio, but you sound a bit like Lorrie Morgan to me (who I grew up on). Excellent job.
