If anyone is wondering, You can use a patch to get the game to run on Windows 7 and Vista.  Google it.

You don't need a patch for 7.

It runs straight away. One of the best things about 7, most of my pain in the fucking arse games for Vista, work first time on 7.

Nope, Max Payne has the same annoying fucking bug on 7 as it did on Vista, however the guy who made the fix for Vista is trying to make the fix for 7. So google darkje max payne patch and see if he's done yet.

Infact, as it's been months since I checked, I'm going to go and do it myself.

Mine worked right away without any patching, but I have the Steam version which from what I hear, is different.

Well you goto the steam site and download it, then install it, and then from there it's piss easy. Prices vary but basically they have huge fuck off sales all the time and you can get games for under £1.00, big named games too. As for differing, it's just code. The game is the same but code to install is different because there's no disc.
