The GAU-8/A 30 mm Round Gatling gun shoots 4,200 rounds per minute. So there's 2 points to make here: They can't just shoot one/ten bullets. it's inefficient, and inaccurate. The reason why he shoots in a line instead of s single spot it's because the target is infantry. You can't obviously see infantry from the air
