Yeah - I will likely get a Light-o-Rama Controller next Year so I can play whatever song I like and fade the light sequences

Yea for sure, wait until feb-march and also in the summer because LOR has big sales. I'm getting two 16 channels for around $230, but these are the DYI the ones that you buy ready for the show is around 200 to 275 for 16 channels

The fan is 6 foot high and 12 feet wide. Its very similar to the "Marty Fan" but I did add a lot more lights. 4 string per wedge - 9 wedges = 2700 lights. 2 rope lights around the frame.

Of course I won't get mad. Let me know if you need more details. It gets a bit windy here so I actually used stakes and wire with turnbuckles to keep it from moving around.
