Unfortunately, what's happening to journalism in York is playing out at newspapers across the country. The difference is that the folks in York are making a brave stand for the profession ... Unlike the corporate managers trying to destroy the union.

Two big thumbs up to my old pals at the YDR and one enormous middle finger to the pricks at MediaNews for killing the YDR I loved and left and lost but know still exists somewhere in the floorboards and the ceilings in a building at 122 S. George Street. And I have survivors guilt. I wish I was still there battling away with you guys. Keep on fighting the fight - you got right on your side.
