  • Nice Video That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You I found these plans easy to understand from this site-Took me some time to outsource cheap parts as in Aussie, however I also got help from a mechanic as not that good at tech stuff-now I have a electric Daweeo

  • I Really Like The Video From Your I found these plans easy to understand from this site-Took me some time to outsource cheap parts as in Aussie, however I also got help from a mechanic as not that good at tech stuff-now I have a electric Daweeo

  • Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing I found these plans easy to understand from this site-Took me some time to outsource cheap parts as in Aussie

  • I was reading that keeping the gearbox has an advantage when you want to preserve the longevity of the motor and batteries, you just dont use it like you would in an ICE drivetrain. (example, you can keep it in 2nd or third, and rarely hit 4th or 5th, or even need to, and 1st would be used for extreme situations where you need almost all of the engine torque)

All of this on RWD cars, anyway. They also recommended AC motors due to less complexity overall. Have you heard this?

  • @TheSooostoned Check out link ,might help you, search on Google, research is awesome-but look at my site for some more info

  • is there a site with all the specs or a how to?

  • @ibehaywire there are some easy plans I posted-however it is all about resourcing cheap parts-try hire car company's for their used batteries then re put acid in them-resourceful

  • @darkmonk99 sorry to b dense but where can i find the plans? Wondering if they make large lipo batteries

  • @ibehaywire there is a link above, not my plans but ones I bought to understand how to convert my Daweeo, hope that helps (convert2electric link above)

  • Electrical energy can be moved to make such a car is an excellent event.

What is the maximum speed the car can do? Max is the way how many miles? This is the car used in the electric motor, designed for carsDid he? With direct currentDid he electric motor works? An allowance or credit for such applications in your country have? Does it give you money in the state for this issue?

    Your work is very beautiful.

  • @yborlu I get 80 mph ok-people just do not hear this car,so look out for pedestrians!

  • why is it so difficult to produce electric cars for the general public, when a group of students did it so well?

  • @fisioserv All about oil buddy-money and greed!

  • @fisioserv lmao thats a very good question!

  • @fisioserv

Because in the Uk, about 75% of what is charged for petrol is taxed..... They would lose billions, thats why they won't invest in it

  • @phinch1 You are right , they will not invest in it because they would lose billions , But they can`t get away with it because we will research and find out what`s needed to convert our own cars in our back yards just like in the US .

  • @fisioserv maybe oil companies control or pay for car companies not to do that , at least now

  • Where is the source of heat for the heaters?

  • @FreePizza007 Taco Bell and McDonalds

  • Students building AN electric car ! good job guys

  • @derman077 I dont think they went into engineering bacause of thier english skills.

  • @gaypotter I think building electric cars is a art.

  • Excelent job guys....Thanks for that

  • @wuiloby sorry late reply-thanks buddy

  • crappy lead acids, c'mon you could do better

  • @monstercameron

    actually no

what are the alternatives? NiMH and Li-X both have issues that are not easy to handle. lead batteries are robust, inexpensive, easy to service and charge.

sure their energy / weight ratio is inferior but anything else it too complicated.

  • @0MoTheG Zinc is the new direction of batteries.

  • @3089280288 explain more

  • @darkmonk99 Forget Air Zinc. At the time it was and probably promising but I think ultra capacitors or or hybrid batteries will be the future. A capacitor can be cycled millions of times and is not affected by the temp. It's cost are probably more but that will come down and they don't need lithium.

  • @3089280288 Thank you for the info on Zinc and capacitors, cool stuff.
