i am an officially qualified football referee; the referee is right because the goalkeeper must stay on the goal line UNTIL the ball is played (kicked). the keeper wasnt tice and the goalkeeper has walked away, mass confrontation, therefore, the refs abandoned the match. p. u dont have to be in line with the ball, just on the goal line, between the posts and facin the right way.

Officialy a goalkeeper can't do that, but it's just to prevent GKs to stand right infront of the ball. No ''qualified football referee'' would blow for something like this because he barely gained an advantage out of this.

actually they do blow for that these days - you'll notice they have a linesman on the goal line these days for penalty shootouts to prevent goalies from going as far out as the 6 yard line, which they did up until a few years ago - it was getting ridiculous, so referees have clamped down a bit

As it was said before we can not make the calls from just watching videos, you have to actaully be there. THe center referee was positioned wrong though he should be more up torwards the 18 and the sidline is to call those infractions. I did find the other clip to this with the sidlne camera man and the goalie moved forward off the line on the first shoot. it is in the center's desgretation to allow the goal or not the goal could have done something

yes for a grade one you have to be 26 but for a grade 2 you do not and as for how long I have been doing this well it does not really matter. There are many things that ppl do not know about the US. you can start up grading at age 17 and figure one grade a year well that is only 5 years to max out and give you 4 more years before you can be a grade one. Also acording the USSF the minmum age to be a FIFA Asistant referee is 26 as well. Even a grade 4 the minmum age is 24. My guess is you are probably a grade 5 if you are truly a higher grade. Where the minimum age is 19. There you can AR in proffesional matches and international leauge cup games.

if you look, right before the kick, the keeper takes a jump forward. you cant do that. the keeper must stay on the line until the ball is kicked.

First of all you could at least spell referee the right way. If you think the officiating is so terrible and all referees are biased then might I suggest you pick up a whistle. Listen I only officiate youth matches at the moment and I referee a lot of my younger brothers matches and I cant begin to tell you how many times I have put him in the book. Think about it my brothers team record was about 3-4-2 in one season and I refereed about all of them. Don't you think his record would be better?
