I'd suggest that some lyrics printouts may help if you are ever able to discuss this with them - try HB (symphonic metal, Finland), Narnia (power metal, Sweden), Deborah (unblack, Mexico) among others. Not to mention some prayer, and as much forbearance as you can give!

Rob Rock is christian, so no. But if you listened to Children of Bodom, or Bullet for my Valentine, that could be bad, I believe god wants us to listen AND sing songs of worship. I'm in my 30's now but when i was in my 20's i had a few disagreements with my mother inlaw as she believed there was no such thing as christian heavy metal, it has to be evil because of the heavy guitars, i don't know your age but its all a generational thing, we fear what we don't understand. Be encouragement i wish i knew of these when i became a Christian. MAY THE LORD KEEP YOU AND BLESS YOU.

@colombiannena thats not true.Since when God said We only play light music for worship?he did say use something to makes noises.He was not specific.However i used to be a lil disappointed about worship music how they seemed kinda dry.But Lord showed me how transparent music can be.I heard some that sound like blind guardian but played on a lighter note.since when satan has all the power to write music ?So can God we got rob rock,mehida holy soldier.and the list goes on.
