Goku is faster than his ship and his ship is hundreds of times faster than light.

i vote for Goku. One of my fav charecters of all time. Superman can't destroy a planet. And if he could then it would take a lot of effort. Goku broke a planet that was 3 times as big as Earth, in half just by powering up. And that's not even when fighting! One Kamehameha in SSJ3 would tear Superman to bits. And in an eating contest... Superman would explode before Goku needed to get his second wind! Goku wins hands down. But he'd sure enjoy the fight!
SS3 Kamehameha wouldn't blow him apart, or even barley phase. Goku is one of my favorites too, but I do like Superman better. It's impossible to beat Superman. Really.

Goku was born from a race of warriors. Saiyans are built to fight and Superman is superman but Goku is a Super Saiyan. In general saiyans are above men so super saiyans would be above supermen.

No he's not. Doomsday beat the crap out of Superman before knocking him out and there are so many characters in DC stronger than Superman it's not even funny. Even pre crisis Superman got smacked around by composite superman,darkseid,galactic golem, and Validus. All those guys are stronger than Superman.

Looking at the powers of both characters Goku would destroy Superman pretty easily. Like I said look at Goku's speed and how powerful he is. Weaker DBZ characters can blow up 3 planets just by waving a hand. Imagine what Goku can do if he tried.

Superman is faster in terms on flying but in a fight Goku is way too fast. King Kai was able to track Goku's ship which was moving so fast it traveled over 4.2 light years in 2 days. The distance it would take light 4.2 years to travel the ship took 2 days. King kai was able to track that ship but Goku and Frieza were moving way too fast for him to track. Goku is faster than his ship and his ship is hundreds of times faster than light.

,goku can read minds..he can sense energy and if you see some of the episodes he tells of sensing ppls thoughts and feeling..he is capable of knowing every single move of his opponent because goku has great focus and concentration and is probably one of the smartest super hero fighters ever made. I like superman but superman cant destroy planets nor entire solar systems like goku could.

it depends which universe they fight in,and also which superman.U can pit,superman one million,superman prime,pre crisis superman which is the best one or the superman that lifts 200 quintillion tons in one arm.these are all universal scale powered supermans,and about goku becomin one with the dragons,he cannot wish away people,and goku is better in dbz than gt.Also noone knows How strong goku after gt.i know precrisis would take it,prime can also,the rest i dont know.

i vote for Goku. One of my fav charecters of all time. Superman can't destroy a planet. And if he could then it would take a lot of effort. Goku broke a planet that was 3 times as big as Earth, in half just by powering up. And that's not even when fighting! One Kamehameha in SSJ3 would tear Superman to bits. And in an eating contest... Superman would explode before Goku needed to get his second wind! Goku wins hands down. But he'd sure enjoy the fight!

but what if we bring speed into this? Goku can move faster then the speed of light, even without instant transmission. and SSJ3 kamehameha blew a hole in the moon. Didn't destroy it! but put a clean hole right through it. That was in the Budokai 3 opening. And superman's heat vision wouldn't even phase Goku. Goku survived getting knocked into lava during the fight against Freeza! Really IMO it's impossible to put charecters from any other series against DBZ guys. It's just not fair.
