If they keep starting it, without opening the engine cover for a few min, they won't have anything to start up...( i know they have bilge blowers,that's how folks get blown up.They trust that the blowers are "enough") Gasoline vapors are real killers.

Is that on Lake Joseph? If so, that must be the only Riva in the Muskokas! There are lots of Greavettes, Ditchburns, etc. but I can't say I have seen an Italian on the three lakes. Thanks for posting.

It was indeed on Lake Joe, but the boat was later sold to a gentleman from Toronto that had it shipped back to Italy (directly to Riva) for restoration, not sure where he ended up housing it after that, but it was not his first or only Riva.

these types of boats are often called runabouts.

for example FRAUSCHER builds them.

they are a bit smaller but also much cheaper xD

or BOESCH from switzerland, these boats are completly made out of wood.

Two 350 >375 HP Mercruser (late seventies to Mid Eighties specs). for the Aquarama speciale. 43 Knots at Sea verified on my GPS. But This one is a regular Aquarama (the tail is shorter) it might have less HP.

Love it! I grew up in South of France - went on to spend a summer season as a waterski instructor in Juan Les Pins in 1978. Used to drive these (occasionally) and ski behind them frequently. Great memories. Best. Boat. Ever.
