The whole point of the Trracer design was to mate the power tube to the hammer to prevent/eliminate power tube breakage. The design, plus the dual pump arms, also created a very "frictionless" pump stroke. The Maverick is more indicative of "classic" nelson design, except that it has the extension from the bolt to create a more "frictionless" action.
So the hammer on my old PMI Trracer broke, and in order to use the one off the new Empire trracer i need to replace all the internals? Also would the rail off the new Trracer fit on the Old PMI Trracer? And the pump handles are they the inter changable?
at the end of your video you said let you know if you need to redo this video. I think you should, i noticed you were all over the place, what i do is do a practice study it, know all my info, then redo the video good information it was just hard to pick up on it, ps just picked up one of these, its awesome
@chevalier5722 Yeah, I'm never adverse to positive criticism, thanks. I can't redo it now though, as I do not have the Trracer in my possession any longer.
You missed the most important comparison, putting all the old trracer parts in the new body, and using the old grip frame. If thats possible then all of us who already have trracers only need to buy a body to get the only benifit of the new gun (cocker threads).
the new one looks more similar to the phantom. i like how the bolt has a guide that goes over the power tube. means more air will be diverted towards the ball. im excited to see efficiency tests on this decent video ive seen on the new marker, thankyou.
The common name for what you're calling a "guide rod" was "powertube."
The original Trracer/Maverick was pretty unusual for having the powertube as part of the hammer rather than fixed on the valve. The new Trracer, then is more conventional in its design than the old one in this regard.
@TheInflicted@RR691983 Thanks guys, I appreciate that. I've always been a Sniper guy, and I just recently got my Maverick a few weeks ago and haven't gotten familiar yet.
i would like to see if you can swap the air supply housing. too bad you didnt try.its very simple

@Tancrad Those on the forum who are using 12oes are reporting somewhere around 33-35 shots per 12 gram. I'm going to try and test it tomorrow :D

The guide rod= power tube.
There were so many veriations of the original trracer, maverick, etc that they had to find the most common variations while designing the new trracer.
I'm fairly sure all parts are not interchangeable but the should work if you keep the new internals all together.
