  • Beautiful. Songs like this make me wish I was Irish instead of only handfasted to one.

  • Sooo beautiful !

  • Thank you for uploading this. It really is such a fantastic piece made all the better by your harp playing :) As it stands, I've put it on my favourites, so thank you :)

    Kisses,

    Raíssa (Brasil)

  • absolutely beautiful...

  • Very nice!

I will try this next :-)

  • Absolutely beautiful! There's something extra special about taking a stringed instrument outside and playing it to the wind isn't there. Especially somewhere like this stone circle. It reminds me of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. All your videos are stunning. Thanks for posting them and showing your huge talent.

  • Thanks!

  • @CelticReject You are totally RIGHT... outdoors (specially arround nature) and unplugged intruments have their fully richness sound... independently of the sound power they have : )

  • it sounds so lovely!

  • This song it's really nice... and you played so nice

Nice to meet this song on your hands

  • Thank you. Maybe you will play it on the kora?

  • Ok Meg...

I have asked to my Kora & it's so happy to try it : )... the problem it's that it's tunned on 'Lah sharp' and there are impossible songs to be played... but I have been testing and 'the Bonny' runs !! (trasfered)

It's great to play Celtic on Kora, I love the celtic way and 'Bony at Morn' could be my first celtic one if all runs fine... so happy then : )

  • This is gorgeous...the playing, the setting, all of it! Brava!

  • Praise indeed, thanks.

  • Thank you so much for the wonderful, amazing and hauntingly beautiful music. The harps of the angels in haven can´t sound more beautiful than your music and it´s really precious cultural heritage of mankind. Thank you for your beautiful music!!!!

  • Thank you BD, your comments are always welcome.

  • Wonderful!! :-)

  • Beautiful tune, beautiful surroundings.

  • Very nice. Do you know where I can find this arrangement. I have a Kim Robertson version, but it's too difficult for my kind of level.

  • I think this is the same level as the Kim Robertson version, I don't think there is an easy version unless you just do simple chord accompaniment.

  • Really beautiful.

    Bernard.

  • Wow, what an amazing location! I can just feel it's a very special place. Such a lovely tune too, you play it so confidently!:-) *****

  • Thank you for sharing this lovely tune at this wonderful place with us.

    Crowned with stars... :)

    All the best

    gari

  • lovely as always!!!

  • Beautiful place to play harp. Your music fits well here. Thanks for sharing!

  • beautiful song and setting

  • I love it. The setting..the arrangement...everything. It's such a beautiful tune.

  • Well done Meg! 100/5!!!

  • YAY BONNY AT MORN!!! I'm putting up a harp one soon. :-)

    that's a really pretty arrangement!

  • How do you know it? I know others like When the boat comes in and Bobby Shaftoe but not this! Your singing and guitar are perfect for it.

  • How do I know it? well I first heard in on this random 101 strings CD...(it's a really pretty orchestral arrangement) but they didn't have the name of it--just called it Irish suite 2! and it's not even Irish! lol. Then I found out the name from another cd and then I found some more versions on youtube. And found out it was Northumbrian. Have you heard Rebecca Fox's vocal arrangement? It's pretty cool! and it's on youtube. :)

  • Aah! I've known the others since a child, funny this one escaped me. Yes there are lot's of versions on YT, the Rebecca Fox one is good. I look forward to hearing yours on harp.
