Thank you for uploading this. It really is such a fantastic piece made all the better by your harp playing :) As it stands, I've put it on my favourites, so thank you :)
I seem to be running short on superlatives in going through your videos, Meg. This was just simply amazing! Thank you for sharing your talent and your beautiful music!
Lovely tune, and the location makes it even more special. I really like the way you arranged it. Found the sheet music and will try to play it myself. Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful! There's something extra special about taking a stringed instrument outside and playing it to the wind isn't there. Especially somewhere like this stone circle. It reminds me of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. All your videos are stunning. Thanks for posting them and showing your huge talent.
@CelticReject You are totally RIGHT... outdoors (specially arround nature) and unplugged intruments have their fully richness sound... independently of the sound power they have : )
I have asked to my Kora & it's so happy to try it : )... the problem it's that it's tunned on 'Lah sharp' and there are impossible songs to be played... but I have been testing and 'the Bonny' runs !! (trasfered)
It's great to play Celtic on Kora, I love the celtic way and 'Bony at Morn' could be my first celtic one if all runs fine... so happy then : )
Thank you so much for the wonderful, amazing and hauntingly beautiful music. The harps of the angels in haven can´t sound more beautiful than your music and it´s really precious cultural heritage of mankind. Thank you for your beautiful music!!!!
How do I know it? well I first heard in on this random 101 strings CD...(it's a really pretty orchestral arrangement) but they didn't have the name of it--just called it Irish suite 2! and it's not even Irish! lol. Then I found out the name from another cd and then I found some more versions on youtube. And found out it was Northumbrian. Have you heard Rebecca Fox's vocal arrangement? It's pretty cool! and it's on youtube. :)
Aah! I've known the others since a child, funny this one escaped me. Yes there are lot's of versions on YT, the Rebecca Fox one is good. I look forward to hearing yours on harp.
lovely and sweet music.
love wales, been there a lot of time and your music take me back to lovely memories.
thanks for share it.

Very nice. Do you know where I can find this arrangement. I have a Kim Robertson version, but it's too difficult for my kind of level.
Hildegard71 2 years ago
I think this is the same level as the Kim Robertson version, I don't think there is an easy version unless you just do simple chord accompaniment.
