an ex-bud gave them to me and then they reproduced like crazy. my desire to keep live plants faded over 2 years. i am glad i did it, but at the same time, i am glad they are gone.

I hope you plan on getting a bigger tank somtime in the future, if those sunfish have the right amount of food they will out grow that tank in a bout a year or so. I had on for two years and it out grew my 45 gallon.

Do the sunfish leave your live plants alone? I have a heavily planted tank and am thinking about going with sunfish this summer, but not if they're plant destroyers.

warmouth, greensunfish, bluegill, and orangespotted sunfish leave my plants alone.

Vlax, I had a big bluegill that used to wreck my plants on a regular basis, but the pumkinseeds were no problem. Bitter, nice vid.

i didnt buy them. i just caught them with a hand net.

hmmmm depends where u are at.. but i usually catch 7 pound pike with giant spoons. Gar i have only caught with a 12" creek chub. Live bait always works great for pike to. If u let me know where u are at i can give u me helpful info.
