I dont know any better interpretation of this aria written by E.Bloch in 1904. Schwarz had the same teacher as Leo Slezak and Friedrich Schorr, which was Adolf Robinson. They all were able to produce a tones with a voix miste which could been reduced to a falsett. This makes better effect at the end of this aria as a second g-sharp later singers used to sing. Schwarz shows his g-sharp in the middle of the aria, which is sung free and without any pressing - best old belcanto-style!
